Coach and Kids Coach
Sport has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, football was everything to me, and I was fortunate enough to compete at county level as a teenager. But as I moved away from competitive sport, life took a different direction. I gained a significant amount of weight in my late teens and found myself a long way from the fit, confident athlete I once was.
In my early twenties, I decided something needed to change. Through consistent training, better nutrition and a commitment to improving myself, I completely transformed my physique and, more importantly, my relationship with fitness.
That experience shaped the coach I am today. I understand the frustrations of wanting to change but not knowing where to start, the challenges of staying consistent and the incredible feeling of finally seeing your hard work pay off.
I've also experienced Priority 6 from the other side. Before becoming a coach, I was a member, training alongside the community and learning from the very coaches I now work with. I know what it's like to walk through those doors as a member, and that experience helps me connect with the people I coach.
My approach focuses on building muscle, reducing body fat and improving performance through structured, progressive training. I believe in having a clear plan, understanding why you're doing something and making every session count.
My turning point came in my early twenties when I looked at myself and realised just how far I'd drifted from the person I used to be.
Growing up as a competitive footballer, being fit, active and confident was part of my identity. But after stepping away from sport, my lifestyle changed, my weight increased and I no longer recognised the athlete I'd once been.
The enemy? Complacency, self-doubt and the belief that getting back into shape was going to be too difficult.
It's easy to fall into the trap of telling yourself you'll start next week, that you're too far gone or that getting fit again is something other people manage to do. I knew that feeling, and eventually I realised that nothing was going to change unless I took responsibility for making it happen.
I made the decision to take control. I started training consistently, paying attention to my nutrition and building better habits. It wasn't an overnight transformation, and there were plenty of challenges along the way, but every small improvement reminded me of what I was capable of.
The biggest transformation wasn't just physical. It was the confidence, discipline and self-belief I developed through the process.
That journey eventually led me to Priority 6, initially as a member. Being part of the community and experiencing great coaching first-hand inspired me to take the next step and become a coach myself.
Now, I get to help others overcome the same barriers I faced. I know what it's like to feel unhappy with where you are, but I also know how rewarding it is to take control and change your direction.
My biggest lesson? You don't have to be the person you were yesterday. With the right plan, support and consistency, you can become someone you're genuinely proud of.
My purpose for coaching is to help people take control of their fitness, transform their physiques and build confidence in what their bodies can achieve.
Having experienced my own transformation, I know that getting into shape is about much more than looking better. It's about feeling stronger, having more energy, developing discipline and proving to yourself that you're capable of achieving something you once thought was out of reach.
I'm particularly passionate about helping people who feel stuck, have lost confidence in their fitness or simply don't know where to start. Whether you're looking to lose body fat, build muscle, improve your CrossFit performance or completely change your physique, I want to give you the knowledge, structure and support to make it happen.
I believe training should have a purpose. No random workouts, no unnecessary extremes and no promises of overnight results. Just a clear plan built around your goals, progressive training and realistic nutritional habits that fit your lifestyle.
Having been a Priority 6 member myself, I understand how important the right environment and coaching can be. I want everyone I work with to feel supported, challenged and confident that they're moving in the right direction.
My biggest motivation is seeing someone achieve something they previously believed was impossible. Whether that's their first pull-up, a new personal best, a body transformation or simply walking into the gym with confidence for the first time, those moments are what make coaching so rewarding.
Ultimately, I want to help people realise that lasting transformation doesn't come from doing everything perfectly. It comes from doing the right things consistently, trusting the process and recognising just how much you're capable of achieving.
